Your GPS system should support one of these formats (fortunately, most of GPS systems support at least one of these formats). To download Crete waypoint file - open one of the links wpt format: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dgtj6bz2_7gtktxhfd gpx format: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dgtj6bz2_8sp9tx2f4 - choose File | Download file as | Text - click Save button - choose destination folder and file name with CORRECT EXTENSION e.g. Crete_Beaches_gpx.gpx and click Save button again. Now you have the file. Easyest way to use the file on your computer is to open it in Google Earth (it can be downloaded from http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html) - Google Earth supports gpx format, download corresponding waypoint file as described above. - Open Google Earth - Choose File | Open and "Files of type"=Gps - Open your waypoint file The waypoints are now available in Google Earth. You can navigate by clicking on it. Using of the file in other GPS systems is similar - just download and import the waypoint file in the system. The procedure is specific for each GPS navigator of course, so please refer to manual... Btw, here are nude beaches in Kefalonia: wpt format: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dgtj6bz2_9frkmvwdg gpx format: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dgtj6bz2_10gsxff6tb [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
