 Try as I might I cannot replicate this problem in Firefox, it seems to be woprking fine for me. You haven't inadvertently turned off Java in Firefox, have you?

The logon icon is possible not as clear as it might be because of the "barefoot banner" but does appear in the top right corner.

Is anyone else having this problem with Firefox?
