But I wanted it to be open at least to start with. Unfortunately, the site infrastructure does not allow pre-approval of edits, but it is easy to move back to earlier revisions. The number of revisions per day is difficult to predict (though in all honestly I doubt it will be anything like as many as you suggest). However it was laborious having to plough through them, interpret them and manually edit each page, and because I didn't have time to do this often enough (having to earn a living too) the site was getting horribly out of date. I thought the wiki route was likely to lead to more up to date information being available to readers. But we will see. If you'd like to be a moderator that would be great (I'll email you separately about this). I'd welcome other volunteers from the regulars on this board.
