 Haven't replied up to now because I've only visited one place this summer, and it's a big step to call it "best".

As first-time visitors to Lesvos/Lesbos, we loved Molyvos beach ~ free sunbeds, shady trees, nice vibe, easy to get to, at-sunbed drinks service. We preferred it to Eftalou ~ more of a trek, take your own shade. We might have visited Limena more if we'd been staying that side of the island ~ deserted enough if you fancy a bit of discreet open-air etc, but bring your own shade. Most of what we thought is already on the Capn's fine site.
