Date Posted: Sun, September 03 2006, 22:54:54 Finally I went to Tinos this summer in high season for the island. (Don't go there from 10-16 of August). Yes there are nude beaches and people know them and go nude, I found nudes. Tinos is well known for its church which celebrates at 15th of August and 23th too(I was there then). But most of people don't know that it is a wonderful island with 41 nice villages, excellent marble sculpturers, more than 1000 unique pigeon houses, nice traditional cuisine etc... The review now. There is a spot, on the rocks near the port, I found nudism there. But is very small place and usually occupied, I don't know if you can sit beside. To go there take the road from the new port to Kionia. After 800m you see club Paradiso to your right. Just after the club turn to the second dirtroad to your left (there is a mirror there). When you enter the road don't go to the right which goes at Stavros church and beach. Continue till the dirt road ends after a few meters. You can park on Stavros and go on foot. Continue down to the sea on foot and you'll find a place to sit nude. Its not the best but its very close to the town. And now let's continue to the official nude beach. Continue the same road to Kionia. Continue till you find the Tinos beach hotel to your right. The big beach to your left ends and continue the dirt road until you pass three small beaches which you can see from the road to your left. Ok now let me explain how this place is. After the third little beach there are rocks and a little peninsula begins. After this peninsula there is a large beach beach before Agios Stefanos church, after this beach there are rocks and peninsula again and ends to a little beach again. From the rocks after the third beach till the last little beach you can be nude. Everybody was nude and not so many people. The rocks are fantastic, the sea too. People prefer the rocky parts left and right of the big beach. I saw nude hill walking from this beach to the last church called Agios Stefanos. You find an easy path going down through the two houses just after the third beach I mentioned. The quality of the nude people there was superb. No gays at last!!! Couples, women and men alone, very calm, I enjoyed a lot. I found another possibility of nudism. Find the Pahia Ammos beach at South East corner of the island. Difficult but ask, you'll find it, is well known and is an amazing beach. Just before you reach the park area of this beach take the left dirt road and you'll see from above a little beach down to your right. I went down with my enduro, but if you don't have one go down on foot. Its an excellent beach divided in three little parts and with rocks which you can sit at right. The family couple was nude when I went there but they saw me and get dressed and was preparing to leave. I prefered the rocks and I striped off. The couple left and two Greek girls came with swimsuit. When they saw me they turned topless and put the lower part into their but like string. We sit there till the sun went away and enjoyed.
