Date Posted: Sun, September 03 2006, 23:17:10 Astypalaia was my last visit. The official nude beach is Tzanaki and is superb. Its the main beach and two smaller ones beside. Superb view of the village, superb people mixed, quiet, no families, mostly young people, but older ones too. No facilities, no sand and the sun goes at 18.00 at 1st of September. Other possibilities of nudism at Plakes on the rocks before the beach. At Maltezana (or Shinontas, hard to remember), pass the beach and continue on foot, you'll find some secluded coves, everubody nude, a nude friend was there, I didn't go. I found a couple of beaches almost isolated after Shinontas. I took the dirt road and found them to the right. You can see them from above. If you have the courage to walk you can go to other beaches too, just take the road editions map. Finally I came back to Athens with a strong seastorm from Astypalaia which I enjoyed a lot.
