As a Talk-Radio host, I remember the day in 2002 that it dawned on me – it was prior to the national hubbub over the illegal immigration issue.

I was standing on top of the Huachuca Mountains in Cochise County, Arizona looking down at the Mexican border.

“In light of 9-11, why are our Borders still open? Don’t the politicians in Washington understand the problem?” I wondered aloud in my frustration! But then it hit me. It went against everything I believed at the time, but it was the only conclusion at which a rational person could arrive.

Somebody, for some reason, WANTS the border to remain open.

Here we stand in 2007, and our Borders remain unsecured. We know that Terrorists are crossing our Borders with ease. I was just down there in July. I’ve talked to the eyewitnesses who have seen Islamic males crossing in small groups. Our own FBI and
Homeland Security admit that men from nations on our ‘State Sponsors of Terror’ list are sneaking into America.

Brave Border Patrol veterans personally tell me they sense something terrible is coming.

The reality is Politically Influential people have vast financial interests at stake across our Borders. Financial deals have been struck and political promises have been made without the light of public scrutiny.
NAFTA has led to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPPNA) and now we are facing the possibility of a North American Union.

If we “Follow the Money”, we can see who these people are, and why they have such little regard for this precious Treasure known as American Sovereignty. Over the last few years, many right-thinking Americans have noticed that something is going on here.

Like a giant jigsaw puzzle, the big picture was hard to see at first. But we are an intelligent and inquisitive people. Individual Americans began to bring their piece of the puzzle to the table, and now we know Why the Border is still open.

We even know ‘Who’, ‘What’, ‘When’, and ‘Where’.

I am deeply thankful for the people at OK-SAFE who are bringing the “Defending America’s Sovereignty” Conference to Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 29, 2007.

These individual citizens listened to their “gut”, banded together, and began to take deliberate action. If Todd Beamer and the handful of heroes on Flight 93 had waited to know all the details before they acted, then four airliners would have hit their targets on 9-11, instead of only three.

Nathan Hale, Patrick Henry and Paul Revere were unknown individuals in their own generation, taking action on imminent dangers facing their country and their families.

Yet we all know their names today.

From Texas, to Oklahoma and beyond, we are seeing ordinary people doing their homework and getting involved in this modern battle. We cannot allow a Global financial agenda to trump American sovereignty.
