Subject: Mary Elizabeth Taylor

My gg-grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Taylor Casey and her husband, Elijah Casey, went to the Rogers ranch in 1934 and visited with Will Rogers. Story goes that grandma said they were cousins. Her parents were William Harrison Taylor and Elizabeth Bayless.

Sadly, the information passed away with them and I'm trying to re-construct this. Can anyone help me with this?

I'm a sixth cousin to Will Rogers but I don't think I've seen anything in my own material that might help you validate your grandmother's story. No doubt it's true. G,G grandmother's usually know what they're talking about.
