Subject: Relocated graves

Does anyone know of water projects in Rogers County that forced gravesites to be moved? I am searching for my great great grandfather Joel R. Burton b 1848 and died after 1917. According to family members his grave was relocated because of a water project year unknown.

The only cemetery I know of being moved in Rogers County was the Winganon Cemetery when the Oologah dam was built. There may have been others, but this is the only one I know of for sure. I can’t remember what year it was moved, I just remember my aunt's husband going to watch them move his parents graves!
