 THANKS KATIE... Today being Veterans Day, I was inspired to remember and surfing the web brought me HERE. My father is still with us, but not doing well. His pride from the NAVY carried with him through his adult life and continued with him as he served as a Chicago Policeman for 36 years. As a very young teen on the EURYLAE, he shared only his warm comardery and comfort from his shipmates during an overwhelming and fearfilled time of his life. THANK you all for keeping my father from harms way.
