Subject: hello, from the son of a Trusty Shellback

 Hi- I just found this site after Googling "USS Blue Beetle".

My dad, Buddy Boyd Landers, passed away a few years ago. On this father's day, I'm missing him and looking over all his old Navy stuff. My dad served on several subs in the pacific during WWII, and I have alot of memorabelia from that time.

One of the items is an ivitation to a ship's dance on April 2, 1945. I will send a scanned copy to the administrator in case its of interest to you all.
