 My dad, Fred Wagner, served on the Euryale during World War II. Sadly, my dad died in 2000 at the age of 87. I have a booklet of photos of the Euryale's service during the war, and just took a chance there would be a Web presence for the ship. Any memories involving my dad would be appreciated. I do know he was a "volunteer" defense attorney during a court martial proceeding, and was chosen only because he had a college degree(in engineering-not law). Fred worked for Argonne National Laboratory most of his working years, and retired in the Seattle area with my mom, Florence, who predeceased him in 1994. Thanks to the founders of this site, and to all you veterans, I want to thank you for your service and sacrifice.
