Dear Mr. Bradfield:
My Dad was Edwin Alexander McAdams. He served proudly aboard the Angler (SS-240) during WWII as Gunner's Mate 3C;
I believe his term of service was '45 - '46. He passed away May 27, 2003 as a result of a heart attack at his home in Glendale, California. Since the Euryale was the Angler's tender, I'm pretty sure he was a member of your reunion group so I just wanted to pass this sad news along. Also, If I remember correctly, he spoke of an upcoming reunion - possibly this coming Fall in the Philadelphia area. My family and I live in New Jersey and we have many relatives in the Greater Philly locale who would be interested in attending in his honor. Can you e-mail me back with any details?
Thanks for your consideration.
