Subject: My dads (E.P. Abate) journey on USS Euryale

 What a wonderful website I started off with just a crew photo and no information and now I know so much more because of this site. Thanks so much.
My dad was Emilio Pete Abate served on the Euryale 5th division until he was hurt at some point and that is all that I know.
He did not talk about this and passed away in 1990. He was a wonderful father of six children and now I am trying to find more information about his time in the service to pass along to his grandchildren. If someone can recall something I sure would be interested.
