 My grandfather was a WWII vet and served on the USS Euryale and I am looking for some information on a big plaque I have of his. It is i believe brass...big dolphins on a wood background..it's very heavy and my father seems to think my grandfather got this as some type of award or something commemorating going below the equator or something? Just curious to know its' background. Get in touch with me if anyone knows any info about this plaque!
