I didnt think WM18 was a joke. Putting words in my mouth there. I just said it didnt out do WM6 in my mind. I mean You definitely have to question why they put the WM VI match on the WM18 DVD. That's like bringing your old girlfriend along with you on the date with your New Girlfriend- and going to same Place you went to with the old Girlfriend - TORONTO! Now I did watch and follow that Rock/Hogan story. And it is what Wrestling needed and was inevitable at the time. Still people were regarding Hogan as a Grandfather of wrestling by then (2002) since he was approaching 50. By 2002 Hogan had already fought all the Legends of Wrestling- Andre,Macho Man, Warrior,Sting, Goldberg,etc... I just think in 1990 Hulkamania was at it's peak and The Ultimate Warrior Force had swelled to a Galactic High. And it was also Champion vs Champion and those 2 forces when those 2 SUPERSTARS CLASHED. Now I enjoyed the WM 18 and Rock & Hogan put on a hell of a match , as you would expect at a Wrestlemania. But I saw it as more of a lovefest with Hulk and appreciation for all He had done in his long career. Not the same when Hulk was still young and at more of an Athletic Peak while Warrior was displaying that Ultimate Physique. It was just a different intensity with more on the line- The 2 Championship Belts- IC and World titles. It just seemed very evident that WM 18 was trying in some way to duplicate elements of WM 6 - trying to relive that story with a different wrestler (rock) rather than be original ( Hogan could have remained Evil but I guess those Toronto fans would'nt let him). Now I think wrestling is still pretty entertaining but there's just a few things & people that are getting old (even though they're young in age) & dumb. You always want to see improvement- That's all.
