I have a pit bull and she is a loving outdoor dog. when a dog is pregnant she get fussy and irritable. be careful to not let her out towards the end of her pregnancy...some pits during there first pregnancy will eat the babies when they come out,.dont freak out just keep an eye on her and make a bed that she can come to when its time to nurse the babies. you need to keep a close eye on her after dilevery of her litter and dont let anyone or other animals around the puppys. try not to handle the babbies for a week because the scent of humans will upset the mother. if the puppies are not getting oenough milk you will have to bottle feed them with puppy formula. if the mother doesnt want anything to do with the puppies keep her away from them and just bottle feed them yourself. it all depends if you pit bull mommy is young, ususally the younger the mother the less they will take to thier puppies. like I said someone needs to be around frequently to keep an eye on momma and babbies.
