about nine months ago my mixed breed dog lost some pigment on his nose, we thought he had just scraped it. then about 2 months ago it started to spread all over his nose and to his bottom lip and the inner corners of his eyes.the doctor treated it with predisone and it went away. It came back worse after we stopped the predisone, weve tried more predisone, antibiotics and antihistimines. nothing has worked. it is now worse, the coloring is mottled it forms a crust or scab and is also worse by his eyes, I have an appointment with a dermatologist, the regular vet is stumped and thinks it might be an immune problem. Has anyone come across anything like this.
