Re: The smelly skin :-) My mother-in-law has a 2 year old bulldog that has a very strong body odor, the vet has been unable to give any real solution...just wondering, did your Lab have unusually oily skin also? Thanks

My dog is named Hunter he is a Boston terrier and I was just reading the other day on a throid site for myslef that dogs can have this problem.And told my mother I believed that was what was wrong with him!!! I'm sure you have confirmed it! I will have him tested ASAP !!! Thank you for posting !!! I noticed because you dogs name was Hunter and it was about allergies. But if you had not done this I'm sure his life would be a lot shorter....I have a thyroid problem so I do believe it the answer!
