Hello, my four year old Yorkshire Terrior 8/16/05 (Since then dog has no access to the pond anymore) drank out of our mini pond (holds 3 gallons), that was filled with green scumy water that has been setting for the past three months. My dog is behaving normal but my concern is what would be the symptoms if there would be any problems? Help!

>hi, by now i guess youve gotten this taken care of, but in case others wish to know. i had my bulldog do almost the same thing. my vet reccommended i use ipicac and have her rid herself of the majority or it. it worked well, she was slightly lethargic and had an unfortunate case of intestinal difficulty for about 24 hours, but she settled, and she is fine now.
