DOGS USUALLY STAY IN HEAT FOR 21 DAYS. The first week they are just coming in and it is usually heavy bleeding, the 2nd week the bleeding should slow down and she likes the attention. The 3rd week the bleeding should stop and this is the week that she will usually stand for a male and become pregnant. Good luck.
