Hi, If your girl is 6 weeks or more she needs 50% more food than usual. The best thing would be to add a good canned puppy food. But not the type for large dogs. Just like IAMS for small dogs. After birth she will need more. PLEASE print out info from the internet ot get a good book. You need to know many details for healthy moms and pups. Good Luck
