I have a pitbull. She is over a year and a half. I know how far a long she is but this is her first litter. Some one told my husband that the puppies stay attatched to her by the cord for a couple of days and that the cord comes off on it's own. I was wondering if that was true or does she bite the cord after the pups are delivered. I tried to explain to him that if the dogs stayed attatched like that then she could not go to the bathroom if she needed to. But he won't listen. Please tell me what happens.

Thanks for that info. Now I can tell my husband that he was wrong and I was right! Thanks again.
