HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR GOLDEN RETRIVERS TO HAVE PUPPIES AND USUALLY HOW MANY SHOULD WE EXPECT TO HAVE THE FIRST TIME ? HOW LONG WILL THE MOTHER BE IN LABOR APPROXIMATELY? THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST LITTER AND WE ARE READING ALL WE CAN TO BE PREPARED. ANY SUGGESTIONS??? THANKS.....BILL

It takes around 63 days for dogs to have puppies no matter what breed they are. The larger the breed the more puppies.
