I have a two year old boxer that I think she is in labor I called the vet and he said she is in the first stages of labor how long is the first stages? And what are some other signs that she is in labor besides heavy panting!

My little dog was in heat she was breed by a 4 month poodle is he old enough to do anything.They did breed. We then breed her to a reg. dog of her kind three days later . She was breed by the poodle on oct 10 and the other one on oct 13. When should we be looking for puppies?
