Subject: Quinton Benson medical condition

Quinton wasn't sure if he wanted me to tell everyone about his problem but I told him that I thought his friends would want to know. He thinks the world of all his racing buddies and their families.
Quinton has been diagnosed with a cyst on his brain. He has been battling severe headaches for awhile that have been getting worse and alot of pressure behind his left eye. The left side of his face has swelling and he has been running a temp for 7 days. Doctors finally decided to do a CT Scan of his head and found this problem. We still have to have an MRI and decide what is the best option for getting rid of this thing. They say it is pretty large and is located on the left side of his head above the ear in the temperal lobe on the brain. The good news is that it is on the outside of the brain and not inside but it is putting pressure on that part of the brain causing the swelling, headaches, and pressure behind the eyes. I will keep everyone updated on his condtion.

Teresa
