I don't remember seeing Lorelei with him too often. The only woman I spent time with outside my friends was Carla. When Lorelei did come out they were holed up even more...she looked down on the rock lifestyle in a big way which I fell contributed to Steve's issues. It was a constant nagging about it and the band. How could one be happy with what they have achieved when the person around you has an opinion that is degrading? He was already feeling low enough and she didn't need to add on to all the crap. Lorelei puts herself on such a high road as far as her opinion is concerned and she never even thought once that her "good intentions" could have been a contributing factor to his downward spiral. But that's what happens when her opinion means more to herself and is only belittling to the person hearing it. That's what I gathered from a bar side conversation one night between him and Savy and myself anyway.
