It has failed me.
The conversation sorta went like this:
"I'll see you tonight?"
"Yep! :D"
*band member leaves*

Should I have said... no? Should I have thrown myself at his feet in a puddle of sorrow saying I didn't have a ticket?
Your post make me wonder if I am doing it wrong.
