I need to make clear some of the issues that have been brought up with my posting regards to Stone and Liz's expecting a baby:
I wrote that post late Saturday night after a night of partying and I was a bit tipsy. Everything I said was true, but I also realized the next day that it was not in good taste to post that. Stone is a public figure, and so I feel he is fair game for discussion. Liz married Stone, and knew what she was getting into, so I also feel she is fair game for discussion. But their baby has no say in the matter and it was not polite of me to post that. I emailed the moderators and asked them to please not post my submission but they posted it anyhow.
Yes, it is true that their baby has a 50% chance of being free of Huntington's. Also, Stone and Liz are not stupid - I can say a lot of not-so-nice things about them (mainly about Liz), but I would never call them stupid. So I suppose they know what they are doing. Also, there is a good chance that there will be a cure for Huntington's by the time that child is 40 - we can all hope. I hope that their baby is healthy and they are happy.
Do I think Liz got pregnant to "keep" Stone? I can't read Liz's mind, and granted, she is manipulative, but I'd have to say no. She's already married to him. I think she wanted a baby, probably a lot more than Stone did, but let's just hope that she's not being manipulative, because if that's true, she's far worse than I would imagine (and remember, I don't particularly care for her).
As for Ashley - her career seems to be taking care of Mike, and for all of Ashley's faults, she seems to do a good job of it. He is very happy with her. As far as I know, Ashley never had any sort of career. She's not the type, if you know what I mean.
