Yeah, maybe you just have to be gorgeous or famous. It seems like the really super famous bands (Aerosmith, the Stones, U2, etc.) are kind of untouchable for newcomers. What I mean is, a lot of people say you have to know someone, but they didn't start out knowing someone. Everybody was a newcomer once.

And I mean groupie in the best sense of the word. As a person who loves this music so much that she (or he) wants to be around the creator because the creative process is so intoxicating. I mean a person who just has this really intense love for the music and the band that creates it, all the way down in their bones.
