I do have a problem with the unsuccessful ones who then look down on me for being friends with a band without having to work for the band to become close...

I mean, can't guys in bands just have friends like normal people? Can't they like people for no specific reason other than they just like them? It's so odd. But if somebody did get into merch or something to get near a band and were unsuccessful, they can be real mean to regular girls. Kind of like guard dogs.

I had a job doing security one time and many of us were pretty and young and took it on to be around the music and the cute guys in the bands. It was a total gimmick we were hired. Our manager wasn't very attractive though and she made damn sure the prettiest girls were not in the pit but got stuck at the back of the building guarding the doors or something where the guys would never see them, LOL. If you're doing it to meet band members it's not really worth it. You'd be there to work after all, not socialize. And I'd much rather socialize in these situations. Just my opinion.
