No, the RS article was NOT referring to "bunch." First of all, there are other people on the EVS board who are a REAL problem. Bunch may be an avid fan, but she herself has had stalkers stalking her around the Internet. One still posts at EVS under "anonymous" but previously used other aliases. When I tried to fend them off of bunch, her stalker(s) made me a target. One of those people is/was a woman named Caryn Rose. There was/is also possibly a friend of Caryn's attacking anyone critical of PJ. Bunch is NOT the problem - trust me. I have never had any encounters with her that leads me to believe she's anything but rational and in control of her own behavior and emotions. I can't say the same for others. I've actually had people email me claiming to have dated Stone Gossard who were trying become "friends" with me. They even tried to feign English-as-a-second language when writing me. One day, I got an email from some "other" person from the same email address claiming to be a "friend" of the first person. They told me the first person had "died in a car accident." Pearl Jam fans are nuts - to the point that they attempt to conduct thier own "intelligence" to get info on people who make fun of Eddie. I'm beginning to think Eddie is the one who breeds all this paranoia - and he may be the one actually doing the harassing or organizing it. The guy is paranoid about stalkers. He still has to talk about the time he was stalked way back in 94 and how horrible it was. (Thus your question about the woman who drove into his fence/yard or whatever). I have no idea who that woman was. Eddie clearly needs to get over his paranoia. If you're famous and you DON'T have any stalkers, THEN you have a real problem.
To that end, I will not allow victims of "PJ goons" to be victimized here as well.
The Rolling Stone article indicates that Eddie actually wastes time reading Internet gossip and worrying about it. The fact that he even felt the need to address the reasons for dating a model are proof of that.
