Subject: How does one get to be a groupie?

After reading some of the postings on here (particularly on my VR thread) and reading Miss Pamela's new book LSTNT, I've come to a conclusion. The only definite answer to "How does one get to be a groupie?" is that there is no definite answer. I've heard all of the following, and all have been true and untrue at different times:
You have to be insanely gorgeous.
You have to 5'10" and blonde.
You have to know somebody with the band.
You have to 15/25/35 years old.
You can't be too smart/dumb.
So is that it? Is it just luck?
Would love to hear your thoughts on the matter as I think there are some really insightful people on this board and I've enjoyed reading everyone's comments.
