Bebe, if you have insight]" on 03:01:17 08/07/07 Tue This was before most of our times so I don't suppose we will ever know the truth -- I did used to work for someone who was very much on that scene back then and he told me when the Doors movie came out that it was a bunch of bunk, and that Jim Morrison's life was very well documented. The rumors start before the person is cold in the grave -- so you can imagine how thick they are 30 years on or whatever. There was a huge court fight between wives and GFs and wives-to-be when jerry Garcia died, and they were apparently perfectly amicable as long as he was alive. Members of the Doors, the Grateful dead, and Jefferson Airplane are all local pillars of the community now and have told their stories many times. We just don't have any real proof of anything either way. There was also some woman in Miami who came out of the woodwork a few months ago and said she was his first GF and he wanted to marry her and all this stuff. What was she selling? Jim Morrison seemed perfectly content to bounce between these women for years; I don't think he would care to do anything about straightening it out, I don't think it exactly bothered him from what I've heard. >Then he should have gone ahead and married her.
