No one said that ALL photographers, masseuses and rock journalists were groupies. I said SOME women who work as rock journalist and the like are primarily groupies with a title. We need to keep the line of reasoning straight. My post is not a bash on industry professionals as a whole. I must say though, if industry professionals are posting here, they ARE groupies. Why else would they have an interest in this subject? RockGroupie has some very loyal and long-term posters at this point. I feel, for the most part, everyone has gotten along wonderfully. I think we should all be really proud of they type of environment RockGroupie has developed into. However, as most can read, I had a spiff with one person who popped in one thread, who implied they were some industry know-it-all and made some condescending remarks. That is really what prompted me to post my message.

Some women who work in the industry are casual groupies/sometimes groupies/ or all-out groupies. Many women who work in the industry aren't groupies at all. It's all good. Some forget how to treat others once in a while. Everyone on this thread are regulars here. We shouldn't need to let this discussion escalate to an area where things could get ugly.
