Subject: Unless STA makes adjustments...O.R. by 15+
In reply to: class I fan 's message, "OR vs Kingswood" on 18:14:35 02/11/08 Mon

I saw the first OR-STA game, STA made no adjustments to what OR was doing defensively. McLaughlin kept dribbling into double teams all night. He put up 20, but most of them were after the game was already decided. During the competetive phase of the game, he was forcing things, committing turnovers and missing open teammates.

STA's only chance in this game is for McLaighlin to realize that OR is willing to leave his teammates open to prevent him from getting good looks. He needs only to look on the other side of the court to see how a good player does the right things to help his team win. Trevor Maynard has sacrificed his personal numbers to do what his team needs him to do in order to win. This has also allowed other players like Brownell to develop.
