Subject: U15 NH Falcons AAU Tryouts

The NH Falcons 15U / Freshmen team will begin the spring season on Sunday 3/9, 5:00 – 7:00 at St. Maries in Manchester (directions below). Evaluations will continue over 3 sessions on Monday 3/10 at 6:30 – 8:30 and Saturday 3/15 at 10:00 – 12:00.

For 2008, we are looking to hold the majority of our practices at Bishop Guertin HS in Nashua together with teams in the 10th and 11th grades. As that gym becomes available following the 15th we will look to move many and possibly all of our practice times to this facility. More information about dates and times will be provided as we go forward.

The Falcons plan to enter at least 8 tourneys this spring beginning with the first in the Boston area on March 29-30. We will also compete in at least two tourneys in April including the Hoop Group Jam Fest in Providence on April 25-26-27. The spring session will continue through June with a plan to include two or three national caliber tournaments in New York and possibly beyond the New England / New York region. National tournaments in early July at either Cincinnati or Las Vegas will also be addressed following selection of players and a team discussion concerning this commitment.

The number of players interested in participating for 2008 may result in the formation of two teams in the freshmen division. A decision on such a team and plans for this team’s season will be made available as evaluations are concluded and the coaches have had a chance to speak with parents and players.

We appreciate all your past and present support and interest, and look forward to seeing each of you on the 9th. Please feel free to reply email or call with any questions, to confirm your interest, or to advise if you are unable to be present on the 9th but are interested in participation.
