Subject: Miss Georgia Peach Scholarship Pageant Mar 21, 2009

The Miss Georgia Peach Scholarship Pageant will be held Mar 21, 2009 at the C.W. Pettigrew Center, Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia.

Any Georgia girl ages 4 - 23 is eligible to compete. Deadline to entry is Mar 14, 2009.

Queens serve as the official ambassadors of the Georgia Peach Festival and are recognized by resolution by the Georgia Legislature and Governor.

All contestants will be judged on poise/personality, beauty and projection. In addition, the Teen and Miss contestants will be judged in interview. For the first time talent will not be required but instead will be an optional category. The Tiny, Little & Junior Miss divisions will also be given optional awards for prettiest dress, prettiest smile and prettiest hair. Optional photogenic awards will be given in all age divisions.

Contestants are given their personal judges scores and comments as well as the queen's scores for comparison and self improvement.

The new Miss Georgia Peach Queen will receive a $1000.00 savings bond upon completion of the Peach Festival Events. There will be 4 runner ups in each age group.
