As a total newbie (and Palmnerd in the making), I have found that I absolutely love my Datebook4 as it is easy to use, will configure my tasks quite easily (almost like using my Franklin planner). Also, quickoffice. Haven't chosen a power database app yet, so the excel is good for me right now. Since I'm very much into astronomy, Planetarium was a must have and was the 2nd app that I downloaded after Datebook4. As I get more into it, I think I'll probably find more essential apps - such as free games ;-). But seriously, I thought it would be months before I totally migrated over to using my Palm exclusively...it took all but 1 week. Yee haa.
