Have you considered the limited Read/Write life of SSDs and installed software to mitigate this? If there is any that is.

I think the latest incarnation of MacOS has such routines/strategies built in. MacOS 9.1 won't have of course. Maybe the SSD you installed does this itself?

It's possible that you should consider transferring that stuff back to you hard drive or, better perhaps, backing it all up to an external device, if you haven't already done so of course?
