Hello all. Me and 3 friends have just returned after our first visit to the CRCMH. Very saddned to see that it was very obviously soon to be knocked down and turned (probably) into some grey featureless place. I know there is plenty of info about this on the site but Im to lazy to read it at the moment. We managed to get some photos which I will email to the site if there any good. As a veteran of such Urbex sites of Cane Hill, Queen Elizabeths (In Banstead woods, a great site. Strangely overlooked/unmentioned on the net) The Reigate hill and Boxhill forts and numerous others I have to say the frontage of the hospital struck me as the most impressive of any Ive visited. Cool stuff. The overall impression though was one of sadness knowing it wont be around for long. We only got there after climbing some vastly dangerous hills to illegally the grounds of a formidable mansion 2+ miles away! Probably belonging to a member of Pink Floyd who thought we were out of shape paparazzi. Or something. Anyway, not much to say, great site, great place. Im soon moving to the Sussex coast, so anyone who knows any good sites or wants to meet up for some urbex stuffs, please email me. Thanks. Richard. perkin2000@yahoo.co.uk
