Dear Sophie,

It is painful to read some of what you write becaue I can really "feel" it internally... BUT I know that you can change how you are "perceiving" this event and lessen your pain.

Sometimes it really is difficult for us to see the forest through the trees.

When you say that you feel your not enough... It is MY perception that when I felt that way so strongly and occasionally slip back into feeling THAT... that the source of it came from living with a man who was not really interested in me or any other WOMAN for so long.

It's the subtle little things that add up over the years... and inside you really do begin to believe that you are not enough...and it's based on something that you could NEVER be enough for because the FACT is that he/they really are interested in MEN...

Men are not Women and never can be and vice versa...

You can stay feeling pain for something that doesn't belong to you or you can begin to extagate yourself in a number of ways.... Begin living your life in everyway that you can. Think about what you like, want and desire and honor that.

For me personally I don't think I ever would have discovered my inate woman hood without getting together with a heterosexual man.... I discovered parts of me as ancient as life itself it seemed... That was just me, you might be different... Life is for living and we grow when outside of anothers shawdow.

This doesn't mean that you never have to talk to him , or that you have to totally end your relationship, but you need to put your needs, first, finally.
