Hi Jeremy, There is no "ONE MOMENT" when you let go of the anger, and poof it is gone. You have to let go over and over again as thoughts and memories pop into your head. You can't stop the "pop ups", nor can you stop the instant anger they arouse. But, you can say that yet again that I'm not going to act on that thought, I'm not going to expand on it in my mind, I'm not going to dwell on it; I'm just going to let it go. This process is easier if your are busy with work or home projects. Therefore it is important to stay active and perhaps take on some new hobby or project to assure you are keeping active. The instant the divorce is final you will feel bad for a bit, but in a week or so you may realize that is all settled now and you will find moving on with your life to start getting easier. The anger does subside, but it takes time and a conscious effort day by day, thought by thhought, moment by moment to keep letting go of the anger.

You realize the anger is not helping you, and that is perhaps the biggest hurdle you have cleared in the process of letting go.

Good Luck,

Bob
