I think Liz may be speaking about "Is my husband gay" which was in Gay Life on About.com. It got very nasty there for awhile as some of the women forgot that it was a gay site and many of the men got tired of having gay men slammed.

Having a gay husband you have issues with doesn't mean all gay men are bad and it started to sound that way so they shut it down. Not much of a win for the ladies as a lot of the gay men were very supportive to me and other women. I knew my husband was gay but women who came there to try to figure things out without that information got a lot of help with their questions.

I never found any of the gay men spoke baddly about women in general but they would strike back if they were attacked. Wouldn't we all? Well, I didn't, I just stopped going until today when I learned what had happened.
