Your former husbands attraction to teenage boys is disturbing to say the least and top that with the fact what your daughters are feeling about the situation is so sad. I'm glad to read that you are not blaming the boy for the so called affair. I wouldn't call it an affair. I would say the boy is having a predatory relationship with a disturbed man.

Like you I don't hate gays in any way and what two consenting adults is their business. I just wish closeted gay men would leave us women alone.

You sound like a wonderful and supportive mother and your daughters will get through this. You can't control what your former husband does with his life but you can protect and love your daughters like you've done.
