Hi P,

I was just responding to Diff's reply to my post. It was just a question put to Diff after his reply about the gay spouse not being able to be "emotionally aware enough to comprehend, understand and accept...?" (You can read his full post before mine) I was just kind of turning the table and inserting the straight spouse into that role. If the gay one is not expected to be able to do this, then how is the straight spouse expected to be any diffferent. And yet...for some reason, we are. At least that is how we are often made to feel when we have to be so tolerant and understanding of the reasons and excuses behind their appalling behavior within the bounds of marriage.

Thanks for your support and your reply. I assure, you I have told my ex in not so polite terms to "go pound sand." :)
