As this point in my life I'm several years removed from the dramatic events of dealing with my ex wife being in love with her girlfriend. Divorced, dated, remarried, and now happy again.

My main point to you is - she doesn't want to be with you. It isn't really that much different than if she left you for another man. The fact of the matter is she has left you, emotionally, sexually, financially, totally. When you can accept that fact you'll be on the road back to a normal life for yourself. Trying to help her, hang on to her, will just add to the your misery and the time it takes you to regroup and recover.

When you let her go, then you can focus on what you need over anything she needs, you'll find healing and recovery will follow. Why did she....? How could she ....? When did she ...? are questions that you may never have answers to. You don't need these answers. The answers you need are Who am I ....? What do I want ....? How do I function for me instead of for us?
