The one thing that has changed in my life dramatically is trusting people, especially the oppposite sex but there are also women who were in my life I no longer trust. It took me awhile to get the courage to walk away from people who I viewed as not healthy. After I did it, I felt so much better and yet I know I have a long ways to go. Maybe that is what life is all about - to grow and learn lessons.

The change in me is learning to trust my instincts and also learning to choose better people for my life. My nature is to be friendly, open and honest which I still am but there is also a big part of me that is now very guarded. I don't allow anyone in my life. The people I trust are family members and basically that is it. Maybe this will change in a few years. At least I hope so. Maybe in a few years when I become healthier I will be able to attract healthier people and I don't mean a man/boyfriend/lover but friends in general.

Being alone at times is very lonely, on the other hand being in a loveless marriage is much lonelier and then discovering your entire life with someone you loved and thought loved you was a absolute total lie, now, that is devastating and not something that one gets over in a few days or months.

I'm cautiously optimistic about my future and see better days ahead for me.
