Understandbly you are very hurt and angry right now. Your wife may have been afraid to come out and declare that she is gay. It doesn't mean she doesn't love you.

IMO, no matter how an affair starts (emotional or physical) or it being gay, straight or otherwise, pain will always be associated with betrayal. It doesn't mean your wife is evil or immoral and not worthy of an authentic life. It is a sad situation when someone feels so much shame that real feelings get buried.

I don't know your wife but perhaps deep down she always knew that she wasn't 100% straight. That doesn't mean she is bad or a bad Catholic.

Your last post has me a little concerned. Believe me I understand your hurt, rage and anger but sometimes that rage and anger can get out of control. Please see a professional right away before something happens you will not be able to take back.

Both of you need a cooling off period before making any drastic decisions. Take a deep breath, step back --- and don't allow your emotions to take over your decision making.

Just my humble opinions and two cents.
