Also I think it may have been easier for me to move on because I was still grieving for my sister when we split up. She died suddenly from a brain hemmorage in Jan 07 and losing her devastated me.
When I split with my ex I was still in counselling and remember sitting there one day and admitting that if i could have one of them back, i would have her no hesitation. I think thats when i realised that deep down i had known things werent right for sometime. We were happy enough, best of friends, but there was no passion or intensity in our relationship and i knew i could take it or leave it. All our friends and family were so shocked, we were the 'perfect' couple, unbreakable!

Beat myself up for a while wondering what he was doing and then when i found out he was seeing that boy whilst still under my roof i got angry at the potential risk he could have exposed me to.

But I think because my sisters life was cut tragically short i woke up to the fact that we get one life so it is up to us to live it in the way that we are happy so i wasn't prepared to sit and cry about something that i couldn't and didnt want to repair.

We all deserve the chance to live and be happy so i just take each day as it comes now and am looking forward to my future. My past has happened and i cant change it and i dont want to, not where it concerns him anyway. I have two fantastic children and i wouldnt change that for the world x
